Numerical simulations of generation and propagation of internal tides in the Andaman Sea

The generation and propagation of internal tides in the Andaman Sea are investigated using a three-dimensional high-resolution numerical model. Three categories experiments, including driving model with four main semidiurnal (M2, S2, N2, K2), diurnal (K1, O1, P1, Q1), eight K2, K1, designed to examine effects barotropic tides. results show that dominant Sea, inclusion negligibly modulates this result.
